smtp proxy basic question

Hi all,

The domain name you specify include all sub-domains? I mean, if I specify company.com will it include abc.company.com, def.company.com and xyz.company.com?

Sorry if this question was already answered somewhere else...

    I think that this depends on your DNS configuration. If yourcompany.com MX record points to a single server which should receive mail for all other xxx.yourcompany.com hosts, than you should only set one. But if you have several mail servers, each configured to receive mails for different zones in your domain, you should include all of them.

    I only have one MX record that points to the ASL proxy.

    What does or why the SMTP Routes are there and how I can configure them ?
