Spam Filter blocking Out Of Office

Hi all,

Not to sure if I'm the only one with this problem (can't find any other threads on this), but the Email Spam filtering keeps blocking inbound and outbound "Out Of Office" messages. They are currently all being marked as Spam and need releasing from the quarantine. I've had a look through the Exceptions settings but cannot find a way to exempt emails containing "Out Of Office" to bypass the Spam Filtering. Any help would be greatly received. We are using the latest UTM 9 with the latest firmware installed.

Howdy,

I can confirm that out of the office is being quaraintines as SPAM.
This even if the "Out of the Office" string comes from an exchange running in the german language setup, there, exchange 2003, the out of the office is in the subject as: Abwesenheitsnotiz.

And I do agree with BrucekConvergent, I also can't find any workarounds.

SOPHOS Support installed a patch on our machines. Now everything works fine again. The official patch implementation will arrive probably in March 2013, so the Support guy told me.

ok i got an answer from sophos support about this case.

It is like "eserzet" allready wrote, they are going to install a hotfix on my mashines to solve this error.

With patch 9.005 they will fix this error anyway.

Submitted a Tech Support Case lately from the Support Portal?
