We do use a V7 mail security since years and build up a V8 virtual appliance a month ago for our mails for testing. We are quit happy with the new version as everything seems to work and its fast. So we planned to migrate all our mail-clients to V8 and also bought a license with mail security already.
But today at midnight our test-license for our domain expired. We noted the problem this morning at 8o'clock as we had no Mails since midnight. We tested from extern and it seems that our V8 still accepts incoming mails, but doesn't redirect them to ms exchange. And it doesn't return any error.
We now have installed the new mail security subscription for V8 immediately. New mails do come in properly, but where are the mails which V8 received between 00 and 08 o'clock? I can't find any log entries, our test-mails didn't return an error-message.
Where are our mails of the period between the test license expired and we installed the new bought one?
I would be glad if someone knows what I have to do to let V8 release those eMails.
