Multiple Domain e-mail servers

Hi,

I am using one external e-mail server that has multiple domains on it. When I setup the POP3 Proxy with Prefetch mode I am getting errors on My Astaro stating that multiple domains are using the same server. Duh? I know that.

How do I set this up to filter all the domains? To me it makes logical sense to list all the domains and not server IP's. Should I just use the IP address of the external e-mail server? This is a public e-mail server with many domains on it, not just mine.

    You use the IP address in a host definition, or an FQDN in a DNS Host definition.  Unlike the SMTP Proxy, the POP3 proxy does not handle entire domains - only individual addresses.  From the user's manual:

    Note – The e-mail client must successfully connect to the POP3 server at least once for the prefetch function to operate properly. This is because Astaro Security Gateway needs to store the name of the POP3 server, the username, and the user's password in a database in order to fetch POP3 messages on behalf of this user. This, however, cannot be achieved by configuring POP3 account credentials in the Astaro User Portal (for more information, see User Portal). The POP3 account credentials in the User Portal are needed for prefetched messages to appear in this user's portal and daily Quarantine Report.
