We have a software package on a server, which sends order verification and other follow-up emails to both internal people and customers.
Now, the mails used to be sent to the internal mailserver which relayed them to the firewall which sent them to the final recipient.
Now, when having the software send the mails directly to the firewall, normal usage seems to work, but when the people _only_ fill in the BCC: field in the mail template, it's not working anymore.
They are used to sending it this way, so I can't directly change that behaviour.
Is there a reason why the mails aren't accepted (at all! there even isn't any logging on the firewall that mentions an attempt to deliver this mail) when sending it directly to the firewall? Why does it work with another mail server in between?
Thanks for your ideas and help!
