Help Me Understand User Portal

Because mine doesn't work.

It doesnt connect every time I try to access it.  It is turned on as well.  Now is this the same as the mail manager in astaro admin itself?

What if I dont use AD, my wife and I just have comcast email addresses.  Can she somehow check her portal and see if emails are quaratained?  Same with me?

If so..how does that work?  What would we login with to get to the portal?

Please explain ...

    You should be able to reach your user portal from outside using the ASGs external IP adress, if not: check if you allowed "any" network to reach your user portal in Managment/User Portal/Global Settings Tab.

    About the email-viewing: You can only look at your SMTP-Log, which just holds information about what has been sent out and in. It doesn't contain the message itself - just the information about the connections of your client and server.
    All you will be able to do is access quarantined mails that have been associated with the user account (by adding the correct email adress to the user). All Emails that match this email address on the receipient or sender entry will show up in your quarantine if it is marked as spam.

    The astaro doesn't have a web-mailer interface. It's just for managing the spam messages it protected you from.
