SMTP Emails Delayed

Since Upgrading to V7 it I have noticed a significant delay in receiving messages.  Has anyone else noticed  this. 

Ex.  Signing up for this board yesterday after signup they send you a confrimation email.  I waited 10 mins and no email came so I re-signed up with a diffrent external email address (hotmail address) and the email was in my inbox right away.  However it finally showed up about 1 hour later in my office email.

      I ended up coming to the same conclusion.  I checked my stmp and filtered for rejected connections and it logged about 50 connections refused.  I have a support call in for astaro to change my smtp limit.  Should be upped tommorow.  I stoped scanning of outbound email on the astaro in the meantime as we have a couple levels of spam protection.
