Cannot update Spam Pattern on 6.311

my ASG 6.311 Software cannot update the Spam Pattern. The Licence is OK, and all the other Pattern are updating well.
The same behavior is on a SGS120 6.311

thats my Box:
Astaro Virus Protection    Wed Sep 12 05:05:19 2007   update   view   
Open source Virus Protection    Wed Sep 12 11:34:12 2007   update   view

any Ideas ?

    This is also the Date for me at V6.311

    LOG is telling me there is NO update to retrieve!
    What is your log file telling you?

    So like is anyone from Astaro going to comment or what? So I have read a new spam engine was released for v7. What about customers whom have v6.\
    Anyone care to try and comment on this one. Nothing is perfect but than again v7 is not perfect.

    I started a case on this a few days ago; it turns out that the frequency of spam engine updates has dwindled to about once a month now ... of course, a few months ago it was maybe twice a week.  So there's nothing wrong with the up2date servers or your Astaro units, just that they aren't releasing updates for the anti-spam engine as often as they used to.  Not saying that it's right or wrong, just the answer I got.  I'm finally moving customers to Version 7 anyhow, this just speeds the process up.

    I administer several boxes, one has anti-spam patterns dated Tue Oct 2 13:47:27 2007, others are still back in September (Fri Sep 7 08:09:39 2007). 

    Funny thing is that a manually started Up2Date process says that there are no newer patternfiles. Maybe that the update cycle was extended, but this doesn't explain that one box is newer than the others and the ones behind don't find new patterns :-(

    I agree that is wierd... to confirm that they are indeed running the same version of updates, just view the md5 hashes of the currently installed Anti-Spam updates (you can find this under the up2date screen) ... I found that all of ours did match.

    as far as i know

    V6 they uses spam assasin
    V7 is using com touch now

    so question is, will there still be updates for v6 spam assasin engine ?
