I have recently installed Astaro V7 and upgraded this to v7.004. I have been running this with prefetch disabled due to previous issues with the functionality.
Runnig Outlook 2003 and connecting to two different POP3 servers with four different accounts, I see the following error in the logs:
2007:05:22-20:50:07 (none) pop3proxy[16065]: id="1116" severity="error" sys="SecureMail" sub="pop3" name="IO error" message="basic_ios::clear" srcip="192.168.2.103" action="closing connection to server and client because of an IO error. (perhaps timeout)"
2007:05:22-20:50:07 (none) pop3proxy[16065]: id="111B" severity="error" sys="SecureMail" sub="pop3" name="Response sending to client failed" srcip="192.168.2.103"
This message is displayed after the default 60 second timeout in Outlook is reached. Increasing this to a greater period does not produce a successful result. I know that there have been a few issues posted relating to similar issues but i am not sure if any reflect my experience.
I would be grateful for any assistance offered.
