SMTP Proxy Help

Hi all.
I have ASG 7.001 running the SMTP Proxy and we love it so far. The only problem now is that our Blackberry redirected messages are not going out. We can receive and send emails. 
I was made to understand that with SMTP Proxy, there is no need for Packet Filter Rules. Is that assumption correct?

    That is correct. 

    I would suggest you do a search of this forum and the beta forum, the blackberry issued was raised recently (Dec or Jan) if I remember correctly.

    Thanks. So far, the issues discussed on the other posts appear to be different.
    My need is a possible explanation for why the redirected Blackberry e-mails are not going out like other e-mails. Everything else works fine - receiving and sending. Do I need a specific rule for this to work? I will hate to have to give up ASG because of this problem.

    If you are using the Blackberry Enterprise software, it uses TCP port 3101 to talk to the RIM server.

    Thank you sir. We use the desktop redirector with Exchange 2003. ASG is replacing IPCop (although IPCop just did port forwarding). When we plug the cable back on the IPCop, all e-mails go out including blackberry redirected emails. But once we switch to ASG, everything works except the blackberry emails. I am wondering if I missed something.
