malware acl condition: weed: scanning failed

Just started seeing this along with emails that say "virus scanner aveserver daemon not running - restarted". Email gets stuck as a result.

Disabling the virus scanner gets email flowing again. Looks like an old problem resurfaced? https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/68/t/61969

Just got a note from Astaro ... and apparently it is all fixed. From my observations:

5.2xx: still broken
6.1xx: still broken but workaround is:

System -> AV Engines -> Kaspersky
Set Status to Disable

James, I have tried to redownload the Kaspersky database, but when I activate Kaspersky scanning for SMTP, the message showed up again and all emails are gone.

Could you post your note received from Astaro?

Looking at the bugfix section of the 6.106 up2date I read something about "Kapersky license renewed". So this looks like Astaro fooled up forgetting to update the licenses in time! Imagine that ...

Astaro has to think of a way to reimburse us for our time wasted this morning...

6.106 seem to work. I got 2 hour less sleep cause of this.

But in "my" /var/storage/chroot-smtp/spool/scan are 1696 directories with mails. The Content proxy manager knows none of them. How do I manage to send the mails to their recipents?

On my Firewall there are a lot of mails in /var/storage/chroot-smtp/spool/input from tomorrow morning.
Does someone know how to release them?

Same as the others, patch works, but i have mails in the input dir.
