POP3 / HTTP Virus Detection Broken

After upgrading from 5.019 to 5.022 my PROXY and POP3 virus protection stopped working:

Virus Protection for Mail:   Valid from 08/16/2004 until 08/16/2005

  Virus Protection for Web:   Valid from 08/16/2004 until 08/16/2005

I have rebooted, stopped and started the services, with no luck.

Any thoughts?

After my last reboot, the HTTP virus detection started working, but the POP3 detection is still not working.

It does not catch any of the 100 Mydoom.F or a single eicar test file from testvirus.org

just to get this out of the way but, did you configure the pop3 proxy to scan for viruses for the pop3 proxy you are accessing. also, is the fw used as the gateway towards this server?

I do have the POP3 proxy set to scan for Virus, the workstaiton is using the FW as the gateway. This configuration was working until i updated the code. I don't beleive anything else has changed.

Are there any biiiiig Email in your POP3 account? If you get a timeout in your client, just set a higher timout on your client. That's related to the way ASL is downloading POP3 email internally.
