Delivery problems ...

Hello,

my customer is angry cause some mails to his customers show the mail attachement inside not as extra data. You know what I mean.
They use MS Outlook 2002. Before ASL there was a simple SENDMAIL and everything was running they say!
Now they say it´s the ASL which causes these problems.
Can this be the option MIME Error check set to "1" ????

This is getting serious !!! Please help me!

how can this be a astaro problem ? whats your internal mailserver ?
what does this server do, whats in the logs ? and the whats in the logfile from astaro smtp proxy ?

Hi Toto,

for me personally I don´t say its an ASL problem, but my customer do!
I explained that the SMTP Proxy only takes the mail and delivers it!

The Outlook 2002 delivers directly to the ASL. Logs are OK and the recipes get the whole mesage but temporarily with the attachement inside the mail ...

How else can I explain to my customer. Has anyone experiences on that topic?

can you show us some log output plz.. a connect from the outlook client and
the response from the reciving mailserver would be nice...

That was only one of "these" emails...
