v5 Spam filter never works

I have been running v5 of ASL for a while now and I have NEVER had the SPAM filter stop 1 e-mail for me yet K9 which I use to detect spam is stopping 130 e-mails a day for spam. Any one else having trouble getting the spam filter to work? I am using the default settings and have tried many other settings with no luck. I have just upgraded to 5.011 but still no luck.   [:S]

    In v5 you can run the Spam filter in two areas.  One as part of the SMTP Proxy, the other in the POP3 Proxy.  Which one are you trying to use?

    REferring to the POP3 SPAM Filter mainly. SMTP is a little different animal becasue I probably bypass the ASTARO box for a lot of the mail as it is not MX record 10 and I do not use the smarthost option....I may do though and force everything through the astaro box. It is just that internally I use an exchange server to handle the cororarte email....suggestions?? [:)]
