v5 Spam filter never works

I have been running v5 of ASL for a while now and I have NEVER had the SPAM filter stop 1 e-mail for me yet K9 which I use to detect spam is stopping 130 e-mails a day for spam. Any one else having trouble getting the spam filter to work? I am using the default settings and have tried many other settings with no luck. I have just upgraded to 5.011 but still no luck.   [:S]

    In v5 you can run the Spam filter in two areas.  One as part of the SMTP Proxy, the other in the POP3 Proxy.  Which one are you trying to use?

    I am having troubles with the POP3 Proxy in general. Not sure what part is really the problem; but the POP3 filters engines are not working correctly. I get many "Scanner Error" type messages and it starts blocking almost everything. Or it will block something on the whitelist. So, I just end up turning off the POP3 Proxy altogether. But since 5.011 that does not work cleanly either. I had to restart the Astaro Box to make sure it was not active.?? Most frustrating. Certainly not a commercial application with these kinds of errors. THe number level settings seem to do very little as well. It is either "ON" or "OFF"??
