Who can help: SG 115 rev. 2 beeps

Hi,

I switched on a brand new SG 115 rev. 2.

The manual says: "Once the security system has booted completely, you'll hear an acoustic signal: five beeps in a row."

My SG 115 rev. 2 don't beep any time.

Has the SG 115 rev. 2 a buzzer and could it broken?

Who can confirm "no beeps" or "five beeps" after boot?

  • Ok, I open a support ticket. But...

    Is the XG 115 device hardware the same as SG 115 device hardware?
    Then I think, the new models don't beep anymore.

    Look at the new Quick Start Guide for XG 85/105/115/125/135:
    "3. Power it on
    Connect the device to the power socket and turn it on
    Connect the device to the power supply using the power cable from the scope of supply. Turn the appliance on. The power switch is on the back side of the housing next to the power supply plug."

    And now, the Quick Start Guide for XG 210/230/310/330/430/450
    "3. Power it on
    Connect the device to the power socket and turn it on
    Connect the appliance to the power socket using the power cable(s) from the scope of supply. Turn the appliance on. The power switch is on the back side of the housing next to the power supply plug. Once the security system has booted completely, you’ll hear an acoustic signal: five beeps in a row."
