  • You don't say how it's not working. If it gets power, you can try reflashing it. See www.sophos.com/.../118843.aspx.

You say they, as in multiple. You had more than one RED10 stop working at the same time? Please explain.

Otherwise, warranty is linked to paid support. The only thing you can do is to contact support and ask for an RMA, Expect to be told no, but maybe you'll get lucky with the holidays. If they say no, which is probable, contact your reseller about renewing support on your license.
  • Hi Scott,
He hasn't renewed support would probably indicate that his licence has expired, which no connectivity?
  • Not necessarily Ian. It's possible to renew only some licenses and not others, including support. Not a wise thing to do, but it happens.
  • First you need a network protection license to get the red service on the utm running.

Then we need to know the problem:

Here are the LED blinking codes:
    RED v1 (without USB): www.sophos.com/.../115431.aspx
RED v2 (with USB) + v3 (the white one): www.sophos.com/.../116173.aspx

Most hardware problems are power supply related. The original power supply sucks! If the power led is green does not necessarily mean the ps is OK. Try any other ps with 12V and 1.0 or better 1.5A. Sometimes the ps won't work if another ps stucks in the same power strip (a kind of voodoo).

If the ps is OK. The power led is on, but the device fails to boot you can try to re-flash the device (RED v2 and higher).
    Otherwise th parrot is dead.

    Good luck.
