Hello,

I have got the support asking me to connect by SSH to a RED so they asked me the WAN address then to forward the port 21 to the local address but the RED has the first address from the DHCP network I have set it up on the UTM, I don't know the IP address given by my link at my office.

My DHCP network from the UTM is in 10.0.1.1/24 and my local network at my office is 192.168.0.1/24. For me the IP local address of the RED is 10.0.1.1 maybe the RED got a IP at the first connection from the local link but thereafter the connection at the UTM he got everything from the UTM. Am I right ?

    Hi Elise,

    the sophos support just needs access to your UTM on which the RED is configured.
    They need the public IP from your UTM, a webadmin account with password and loginuser / root password. You must also grant access for webadmin / SSH, for the dns group supportaccess.sophos.com.

    Are you a premium customer? If not, please contact your sophos partner.

    Thanks a lot Mod, I did that first. They connect to my UTM trying to understand why the RED is losing its connection 15 times a day. Then they asked to connect directly to the RED from my link at my office and to do so to forward the WAN IP of the my ADSL connection at my office to the local IP supposedly given by ADSL connection to the RED. I answered them this was not possible because once my RED is connected I have not the local IP address given by my ADSL connection anymore (I have not this address ever in fact, I don't even know how to get it), I have only the first address given by my DHCP network set it up on my UTM (local IP address ADSL are 192.168 style and DHCP Red network is 10.0. style). 

    I am a partner and I am discussing this with my distributor whom I bought the RED. He is the link with Sophos support.

    OK, I understand. You need the public IP from your RED.

    You can find this in the RED Log. Go to Logging & Reporting -> View Log Files -> Search Log Files and choose the RED Log. Then search for "New connection from"
