Restore Problem / Versions ?

Hello,

we having an Issue while restore from a backup.

Backup Version: 9.307-006
Install Version: newest available ISO = 9.306-6

We tried to Download Version 9.307-006 from the ftp. I uploaded this file ( Up2Date-Advanced) , getting no error but the UTM is not installing ?

WAN is not configured so we need to this offline.

Any ideas ? Thank you

  • Can you still access webadmin? Did you download ftp://ftp.astaro.de/UTM/v9/up2date/u2d-sys-9.306006-307006.tgz.gpg ?

  • Ivey, I'm not sure I understand your situation...

You must Up2Date the 9.306 installation to 9.307 before restoring the configuration backup.  First do a Factory Reset and then setup the UTM with just the basic setup.  Now you can login to WebAdmin and upload the Up2Date file as you did before.  When that Up2Date is finished, restore your backup and everything should be fine.

This was not the problem, problem was that the offline update was not working.

I just had to configure WAN and made the Update online; interesting was that the first try was failing... i just tried it again and then it worked.

Maybe this version is buggy ???
