Yes, with a Astaro appliance, you can do the Start Upgrade without needing an ISO.  It's called one-touch upgrade.

After the initial upgrade is finished, you should be on some older version of v9.  Not certain which at this point (feel free to post back what version it leaves you on).  Then your system will download the intermediary up2date packages to get you to at least 9.210.

If at 9.210 and you don't get further packages to take you to 9.3, you'll need to manually upload and apply ftp://ftp.astaro.de/UTM/v9/up2date/u2d-sys-9.210020-304009.tgz.gpg .  This will put you at 9.304, then 3 more packages will be downloaded to take you to most current, 9.307.

The white 220 is not current, but the big difference was more memory.  If you need to upgrade, and with an old Astaro 220 you do, get an SG series  UTM Firewall Security: Hardware, Software, Virtual or Cloud Network Firewall Protection | Sophos UTM.

uh no..the BIG difference was more ram AND the new cpus.  The new cpu's in the sg boxes are light years ahead of the old utm boxes.

@William:  I'd forgotten about the CPU change between rev 3/4 and rev 5 220s.  P4 to celly.  Had to go to spec spreadsheet to be reminded.  [:)]
