Install failure

I'm trying to install the latest version on an HP Elite desktop.  The system boots up from the CD and I get the BOOT: prompt.  I press enter to install and then CD runs for a couple seconds and then nothing else happens.  No messages, no activity, just a blinking cursor.  Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

    I am trying to upgrade my hardware, have run into an issue.  I currently have UTM9.302-2 installed on an old HP system.  I have a new HP desktop that I want to move to.  I have installed asg-9.209-8.1.iso onto it and it works.  But, when I go to restore my current configuration onto this new one, after restarting it, one of the NICS is dark and I can't get the interface at all.  Are there any specific guidelines on how to accomplish moving an existing config to a new box?  Thanks!
