Licensing Question

I have a licensing question on the UTM virtual firewall. New user and I did a quick search of the BB and didn't see the answer.


I installed the UTM in my home, (a little odd I know) but I run my business out of my basement. I have 1 user (me) and sometimes a second user, (my son) I also have several devices on the network. 

Yesterday I upgraded from the free license to a 10 user Network license because I need Internet fail over. It is the one requirement that my previous firewall had that was not met by the UTM.

Today I have several IP addresses blocked because I have exceeded my license count. What gives?

    "Users" in terms of licensing are based on IPs in use.  Go to Management > Licensing > Active IP Addresses to see which IPs have been counted, which you may be able to use to track down devices.  Be aware that if a devices has both an IPv4 address and IPv6, it will count as 2.
