Can't Login

Ok this is frustrating, tried both a VM and a hardware based install of the software.

All seems to go well, go to the config screen where you enter the new password, and e-mail address. Entered everything correctly.

Now it takes me to the WebAdmin login screen, I use the login name of admin and the password i chose earlier, both fields now show an asterisk next to the username and password boxes and it simply stalls there.

I have tried both chrome and IE 11 to no avail.

Ideas? No errors on the box itself, just the login screen sitting there.

Joe, are you scrolling all the way down to the bottom and accepting the license agreement? After that, do you give it a minute or so to complete its set up? After that it should restart WebAdmin before you get a chance to enter your admin and password.

Yep I accept the license agreement, it flashes to allow 40 seconds to complete.

Then I get another cert error, I click through this and get the login screen.

I enter admin and password "the one I chose on the previous screen" and it just sits there on the login screen with no errors or any other messages for that matter.

And I cant login to the console using root and no password as some have suggested, it tells me login incorrect and then the prompt changes to utmlogin instead of login.

Odd indeed... Both on a virtual and physical machine.

Here is the adapter I chose for access to WebAdmin on my subnet.

Here is the ip information I entered. I left the gateway blank.

Here is the license acceptance screen after accepting the agreement.

Here is the login screen after entering username and password. It hangs right here.

Here is what happens at the terminal when I try and login as root with a blank password.

And here is what happens if I try and login as admin, notice the login prompt has changed from login to test login after the root password failed.

This is really embarassing but it is the truth.

All this time I have been clicking on the Green Arrow next to login instead of the actual login button.

Once I click on the LOGIN BUTTON and not the green arrow it came up.

Mark this down for the MORON award of the year [:(]
