Up2Date 9.113-1 to 9.203-003

Hi,

i wanted to update from 9.113-1 to 9.203-003 (and after that to 9.204-020) but the up2date fails. I also tried manually downloading them and force installing them like here: (using this guide: Up2date Troubleshooting: Sophos UTM)

    Backups and ISO/USB install images ready?  System (HD and memory) diagnostics before the reinstall?

    You could try pulling an older aviraglue from an prior update or installing the libraries the 9.2 aviraglue wanted (are those errors because of glibc/etc versions or because your RPM database looks broken).  I'm recalling a May 17thish(?) date on the aviraglue in the 9.113-9.203 bundle - so perhaps something from May or perhaps earlier if going the older package route.

    RPM db errors? Maybe  rpmdb --rebuilddb

    If you don't want to rebuild because of logs/reportingdb and you have suitable licensing and additional hardware (or maybe even a VM) available then you could try pivoting over with HA, rebuild the original system and pivot back.

    Outright rebuilding (or replacing) is probably the most expedient route - especially if you have no pre-established support (and prepaid - unless you think this would be worth new billable hours somewhere).
