Problems since installing 9.204-20

I just updated to 9.204-20 yesterday when I saw that the update was out.  Since then, I've had a bunch of SMTP problems with all email being quarantined.  Everything was working fine before, but now all inbound and outbound emails are quarantined saying either AV scanner unreachable or Malware(SCAN_ERROR).

Has some settings changed with the update that I may have overlooked?

  • Thanks vilic, for those posts.  I searched but didn't come across those, as I was looking for problems specific to the 4.204-20 code.  I may have skipped over the 4.203 release - I don't recall.  Seems to be the same problem I'm having.  I have restarted the virtual appliance (twice, I think) and the problem hasn't resolved.  I'll try disabling/reenabling the AV like you mentioned this afternoon and see if that resolves the issue.
