No up2date - fresh install w/backup

After a fresh install of the latest 9.107-33.1 with a backup restore from a 8.311, I have no up2date at all !

Somthing is just not wright !

    Hi,

    I'm not sure I understand what you expect to see.

    9.107 is the latest released version; there should NOT currently be any up2dates for it.

    If you are concerned about the missing pattern version, 
    a. how often do you have patterns set to update?
    b. how long has the system been online since you enabled (a)
    c. does it still show no pattern updates?

    I think he is noting the IPS patterns do not update. In my case I reloaded asg from disk doing a clean install of 9.107-33.1 and restored the backup. Previously 9.106 was upgraded to 9.107 via up2date. However the install did not correctly complete and the device started to exhibiting unusual behavior. This is why I reloaded from disc. Pattern updates up were set to every 15 minutes post back up restoration. 24 hours later there were no IPS updated, the version was still 0 and the log loaded with entries of successful authentication and no packages available. Down graded to 9.106 and loaded the config back up. Set firmware up2date to manual, set IPS pattern update to every 15 minutes. Checked the asg about 1/2 hour later new pattern updates installed.

    I am seeing something similar.

    I am running 9.107-33 and noticed the patterns haven't been updated since I upgraded.  My current pattern is 55070.  If I leave the pattern download/install set to automatic every 15 minutes the UTM states the patterns are up to date.  

    However, if I change it to manual, it states that pattern 55589 is available and provides a button to update.  

    I just restarted the UTM and below is the current Up2Date messages:

    None of our family's UTMs will update their patterns. One is stuck on 55468, the rest are stuck on 55587. 

    When set to update every 15 minutes, the UTMs say patterns are up to date. However, the associated UTM Manager indicates the patterns are not up to date.
    When set to manual update, UTMs say current pattern is 55600 just now. Clicking on button to Update Patterns Now causes pop-up window that says: 
    Pattern installation has been started. This may take a while. You can refresh this page periodically to check when the process has completed. 
    Then, it does not update.

    Changing Up2Date settings does not help. 
    No indication of problems contacting the Up2Date servers.

    I just did a fresh installation last night of 9.107-33 on a new box and restored from backup.  I forced a backup and used what I created rather than rely upon the automatic backup, in case I had made a change and it didn't catch it in the last auto backup.

    I made no changes and my patterns are updated, as of this morning (55595).  I will watch it through the day to see if it changes.  So far, it appears to be working.  Perhaps a DNS issue?  I ended up making some changes to DNS before the hardware change due to some problems I was having.

    I also attempted to gain access to my UTM, and it was suddenly 404'd on me.  I'd never seen that one, yet I was playing Planetside 2 for some time with it like that, hah.

    Had to hard reboot, but been sitting here waiting for a pattern update.  No go for a while now, and I know the pattern is more recent than that.
