I am running UTM9 software at home on my Intel Atom box with 2GB ram. Ever since one of the recent firmware updates my memory usage has increased from 1 GB to 1.6+ GB and so I would like to add another 2GB stick of ram. Is it true that all I need to do is add the extra stick of ram and UTM9 and it will recognize and use it? Do I need to modify any settings? Reinstall?
I picked up a Mushkin 2GB SODIMM but my UTM9 device would not boot with it in (GRUB boot loader error). The timing on this SODIMM is not exactly the same as my original so I was thinking of ordering the exact same stick of ram as my original.
