[9.101] Network Card Disappeared

I have a Dual Gigabit Network card installed with my UTM 9 Firewall, and surprisingly after a reboot, it was no longer listed under Hardware. I upgraded from 9.006-5 to 9.101012, seeing if that would trigger anything, however, it didn't make much difference.

At this point, even if I can get this card up and running again, or replace it, will UTM 9 ever recognize and utilize it again, or will a reinstall and restore backup be necessary?

    Weird.

    I see several PCI and/or PCIe bridges; I'm not sure which one might be the one on the dual-port NIC, although most of them appear to be part of the ICH9 motherboard chipset.

    Try the BIOS update; otherwise, take a config backup, and either:
    a. remove the NIC and run lspci again, looking to see if any of the PCI bridges disappear
    b. reinstall 9.0x and run lspci again
    c. boot from a 'live' linux distro and run lspci

    'a' could tell us if the bridge is not working in 9.1
    'b' or 'c' should at least show us the devices; maybe something's wrong with the driver in 9.1 in which case Sophos might need to see lspci -vv and lspci -vvn from a working system

    Is the NIC PCI or PCIe?
    Do you have any other information about it, e.g. is it a PRO-1000 something something model?
