Clustered 320s v8 to v9 upgrade

Anyone out there running clustered appliances and has run through the up2date to get them from v8 to current version of v9? I have a couple of issues that I would like to get resolved that are supposed to be fixed in the newest version, but am a little hesitant to upgrade my remote site since I'm not there and my primary site due to service outages. 
If you had some experience with it, good or bad, I'd greatly appreciate some feedback.

UTM issues needing resolution;
1. PCRE limits exceeded in WAF while accessing OWA 2010 (some users. Not OS or location specific)
2. Dynamic routing (BGP) while using IPSec connections. (Not possible in v8)

    I can't speak to your specific needs as I haven't experienced those limitations. I can speak to the stability of v9 on appliances (UTM 220 and RED 10's) setup in HA mode.

    Experiences so far:

    1. UTM 220 - Resources after a few days are exhausted. Either you reboot them or they will go into a crash loop.
    2. RED 10's - I had two devices stop working and had to be setup on a DHCP connection to refresh their configuration before they started working again.

    I would not recommend you upgrading to v9 if you have a stable v8 setup.

    Thanks for the response. I certainly hope that is not the case. Deployed a pair of v9 220s in HA last week at a satellite office. I'll let you know if that happens here as well.

    I have done a few 9 upgrades.. no issues so far. None have been clustered though.

    Thanks for taking the time to post. So far I've just reimaged my stand-alone 120s, but they haven't been my primary internet gateways. I might just go that route again, but I'm waiting for confirmation on whether or not active\active clustering is supported on the newest version of v9.

    Also, any easy way of comparing config files between the two once I break the cluster and upgrade one of them?

    Anyone else confirm that? V9 running clustered?

    I did update a asg220 from 8.309 to 9.004 in HA modus (active-passiv):

    during update:
    The only thin I regonize was a disconnect of the ICA-Sessions (Citrix), surfing/mailing/wireless was ok during the update.

    No problems so far on 9.005016 (mail/web/wireless is active). Performance: no issues; the consume of RAM is among the v8

    As directed, I upgraded to v9 after breaking the cluster to be safe. The new firmware did solve the PCRE limit issues with OWA, but using BGP still doesn't work. Still working with support on this item.

    Hey there,

    I just saw this post sorry. I upgraded my UTM-525 active/passive cluster from 8.309 --> 9 without any trouble and not a dropped packet, very smooth process.

    I had a performance issue following the upgrade due to a raid controller caching bug (apparently only on hardware revision 4), but this was resolved by Astaro support quickly.
