Difference between UTM-525 Rev.4 and Rev.6

Hi All,

I am currently running a pair of ASG-525 REV.4 boxes (fully supported by UTM 9). 

Is there a significant difference in hardware spec between REV.4 and current REV? Just wondering if I should take advantage of the hardware refresh rebate is all.

    Morning Bob,

    I based my observations on the Sophos CPU listing at the bottom of the page. I also assumed they knew which CPU's were in their gear.[:P] NOTE: I'm not referring to when the appliance was released, just when the CPU under the hood was.

    I did some further digging and the data on the CPU's in the 220/320 are confusing. Intel Ark does not list a 2.6GHz E1500 (just the E3400 which Ark & Wikipedia agree on) as well as Ark & Wikipedia do not agree on the release dates of the E1500 as Ark says 2006 while Wikipedia says 2008. Assuming Wikipedia is correct, that's still a six year old processor. The E3400 for reference is a 2010 release so newer then the E1500 but still old.
