Astaro ASG220 Rev2 vs Sophos UTM120

Hi,

Does anyone know the CPU specification of the old Astaro ASG220 Rev2 (with the Astaro 512MB RAM upgrade to 1GB).

I need to connect a new office and I'm wondering if I'm better off bringing an old ASG220 out of retirement to run UTM9, or would I be better of buying a new Sophos UTM120.

Basically, which is the more powerful device?.

    the 120's atom isn't going to hold a candle to the 220's p-4.  It all depends on what he is going to use the device 4.  if he is NOT looking to do ips then the highly threaded but slower cpu instruction per second per core will favor the atom.  The instant he wants to do ips and/or more than say 5 users with a/v on the p-4 is going to be a better bet because the p-4 is going to handle the serial nature of ips and a/v scanning than the 120 powered atom is going to.  Also iirc that p-4 is HT enabled so it gets a boost from threaded things..but it's true strength is ips and a/v scanning..[:)]
