9.0 with one cpu?

Has anyone tried to run 9.0 on "less than the minimum"?

i'm curious on how/if it will run on a single core ancient CPU(with enough RAM) or if it will refuse to install....

    IPS works at up to about 40mbps on a single-core Intel Atom CPU.

    Some PIII's may be able to compete with that (they made some 1.2GHz PIII's).
    Anything more modern should be OK.

    But, of course if A/V and other things are using the CPU, ymmv.
