UTM Home on Retired ASG 120 hardware

Is it possible to re-task a retired ASG 120 for home use using the free home license offered by Astaro/Sophos?  If so what is the method for wipeing and installing the home version on the old ASG?  I have tried installing (via the smart_installer thumb drive) the hardware appliance image and it wouldn't accept the home user license.  I then tried to install the software appliance via the smart installer and it wouldn't  install due to Sophos Hardware.

Any suggestions?  I would really like to recycle some ASG 120's that we upgraded for use at my mom, my father-in law and my mother-in law's homes  to have our own little backup cloud and file sharing network.

    From the command line as root, rename the /etc/asg file.  That will allow you to load the software version.

    PS Go to the Support Downloads page to get putty.exe and puttygen.exe, use puttygen to create an SSH key for yourself and then go to the 'Shell Access' tab in 'Management >> System Settings'.  Select 'Allow public key authentication', 'Allow root login: root access but only with ssh key' and add your public key to 'Authorized keys for root'.  When you first copy the key into the plus box and Apply, you will see three lines like 'ssh-rsa', 'AAAAB3NzaC1...' and 'test@iPhone'.  After you press the big Apply to accept the configuration, you will see a single line like '[RSA] (AAAAB3NzaC1) test@iPhone'.  Follow Using the Putty utility with Astaro.
