GA vs. softrelease

Hi
I've notices that UTM 9.000 is now released as a soft release. What are the main differences between a soft release and the final GA release? Is the soft release considered beta quality or is it suitable for production environments?

    A Soft-Release is a final release with full support. Since v9, you'll even get a proper Up2Date from Soft-Release to GA if there were any necessary fixes. There is no reason to hold back until GA except waiting and see how things are going, especially with v9 and installing by ISO as there will be no Up2Date from v8 at GA, yet.
