Why does my 9.0 Home System Regularly Reboot?

I was using Asatro on a Pentium PC since version 6. It has always been rock solid. The system would only fail if there was a power failure. A few weeks ago I started  testing the 9.x beta. Within a few days I noticed that the system was restarting about every 24 hours or so. There was no apparent cause. I figured it was a beta problem. I should reported it.

On Saturday I installed a new copy of 9.0. Since then it has restarted twice that I know of (I knew because I was online and I lost Internet connectivity).

Any idea how to troubleshoot restarting problems? Is there a log that tells me the cause?

9.000-8
Running on Pentium Duo 64-bit 3.2Ghz PC
10 devices including four lightly used Windows PC's

    Hi, I'd start with the system log.

    Also consider running memtest86 to test the hardware. iirc, it's available when booting from the Astaro CD.

    No clues that I can find in the system log. It only shows data since immediately after the last reboot.

    I will run the Memtest.

    It seems odd that a couple of weeks ago that v.8 was working fine and upgrading to v.9 "coincidentally" started the unexpected reboot problem. I am going to go back to v.8 for a few days after I finish Memtest to see what the results will be.
