Far too many IP's showing up as under scope of license

I'm using the Astaro home gateway license for my two homes, and even between them there is definitely less than 40 devices on the network, surely, with 4 people at one house and 2 at the other. Somehow I have 47 active IP's in the network, and alot of Unknown leases in the lease table. It's not people on my wifi, as the controller software for that shows only 5 users. At the main site I only even have a 24 port switch and the remote one an 8 port one. The controller spans both sites so on wireless at both sites there are total 5 users. I really don't get what's going on.

Make sure the entire dhcp pool for both locations is at least one less than your home license allotment.  Any static ad dies outside of your dhcp range that are present will be detected and counted

Thanks, I think I figured out what's going on then, since the computers are used across both sites/subnets there become duplicates of them since the last site is retained for 7 days, and we actually have close to 40(!?) devices (switches/aps/tvs/stbs included) on the network, about 10 of which that go between the houses, so pretty close to the limit anyways. 
I just changed my license to the essentials for business one, as that's actually all I use, however I did notice a peculiarity, I now have 10 endpoint licenses (only had 2 on home license), and LiveConnect actually seems to work.

On a side note, I am absolutely loving Astaro, coming from pfSense I tried almost everything and settled on Vyatta until I discovered that there was still a free version of Astaro.

Oh no, it seems the essential license doesn't support IPSec site to site vpn [:(] I'll see if in a few days the IPs decrease. William, were you saying if you set a static IP it is counted or isn't? What doesn't fall in the scope of the license? I have about 8 APs and 5 TVs each with an STB (and soon RaspberryPi) eating up alot of the IPs.

If the printers (or any other non-internet devices) aren't used between networks, you can give them a static IP and NO GATEWAY.

That goes for managed switches and wifi routers too, unless you need to manage them from the other networks.

I'm still getting far more IPs in the scope of the license than I think I should. My DHCP list has 18 devices in it, and there are 7 static mappings. I've checked and *everything* in my network is addressed this way. Yet, somehow there are 51 IP's showing up in the scope of my license, of which, everything except the static mappings is in the DHCP pool...

I suspect this is all the various IP's things like phones and laptops have been assigned when entering and leaving the network, so is there any way to clear all these old IPs from the license?
I've just set the lease time to 8 days in the hope this will do something to help.

No, not using IPv6. I imagine that would make it worse?

I tried that, and it repopulated with 53 IPs now... I really don't understand this. I've gotten rid of Hamachi a week ago in case it was causing it, I can't think of anything else that could cause it other than devices getting new IPs alot...
