update alreaddy installed issue

Hello,

Got a problem on one of our asg120. The local admin applied the automatic updates but something went wrong so it still claims to be a 8.103 and if you try to apply 8.200 or 8.201 the log states "alreaddy installed" on all the update rutines..

anyone got a good advice on how to resolve or force upgrade ?

because I practically spend days now putting out small and large fires caused by 8.200 and 8.201
Tell me about it ;P. 8.202 should be out soon and it will solve a large number of the problems, per the v8 issues list.

Have you tried targeting just that one patch? rpm -Uhv vineyard-plugin-2-0.74867757.g3e10dab.i686 --force?

tried something like it.. but I am not all that good to the linux commands yet, so I got stuck at :

mail:/var/up2date # rpm -Uhv vineyard-plugin-2-0.74867757.g3e10dab.i686 --force
error: open of vineyard-plugin-2-0.74867757.g3e10dab.i686 failed: No such file or directory

I guess I have to unpack the up2date package somehow..
