update alreaddy installed issue

Hello,

Got a problem on one of our asg120. The local admin applied the automatic updates but something went wrong so it still claims to be a 8.103 and if you try to apply 8.200 or 8.201 the log states "alreaddy installed" on all the update rutines..

anyone got a good advice on how to resolve or force upgrade ?

    Take a look in Management>> Licensing.  Does everything show as enabled?

    You know, it might just be quicker to save off a config-backup and reinstall using the 8.201 ISO.

    Hi,

    yes green check marks all the way down in the license part - even tried to reapply the license with no change.

    I would have just reinstalled long ago with a conf backup.. but the fact that I have to spend 5 hours in a car each way kinda makes me seek alternatives.

    I see this also was an issue around version 7, but I never saw a fix except some sort of rpm to download which would be no good on the V8 I guess.

    I must say that the rapid deployment and simplicity of Astaro is a nice thing to remember right now, because I practically spend days now putting out small and large fires caused by 8.200 and 8.201 ..
