Minimum Requirements for ASG running on ESXi

Hello All,

But I am a little bit confused because when I have a look at the astaro website and the requirements are different between the virtual appliance and the software appliance.

I want to install ASG (latest_asg_v8_software.iso) on my ESXi server and not the virtual image.

What kind of linux? Maybe I would prefer 64-bit.

1 or 2 GB

    Hey Guys,

    just wanted to report back. I was encouraged enough to install the ASG on ESXi 3.5 with the CD ISO - worked like a charm!
    Thanks Astaro! I was stuck in my brain somewhere in v7 that the performance would be bad wthout vmware-tools etc. pp. but during the installation of v8 I read something like "VMware optimized RPM installation" - thanks for that easy setup.
