Minimum Requirements for ASG running on ESXi

Hello All,

But I am a little bit confused because when I have a look at the astaro website and the requirements are different between the virtual appliance and the software appliance.

I want to install ASG (latest_asg_v8_software.iso) on my ESXi server and not the virtual image.

What kind of linux? Maybe I would prefer 64-bit.

    Other 64bit Linux template, 2GB mem and 40GB with 2 vCPUs are ok for ASG 8.2. Intel e1000 NICs are always good with linux, since 8.2 also VMXNET3 works very well (I use them). Change Disk controller from LSI parallel to LSI SAS.

    Runs fine...
