Any chance that there's a power failure?  I don't know about your power company, but mine has a feature on its' website to show outages in near real-time.

Does your Comcast router provide remote management, so that you can log into it and try to gather some data?

Yes, and my 525 was completely off. 

Is there a updated Bios for the ASG 525 which will boot up when power is restored. 

Luckily I had to take in todays beautiful weather before the next rain storms again.

  No bios updates, but if you go into the bios during bootup, in the Power Management section, there may be an option for AC Recovery.  If it is there, you would want to set it to last state.  Also, if you are using an APC UPS, you can connect it to Astaro by USB for UPS integration.  In the on-line help in WebAdmin, do a search for UPS.

I've put it off too long. need an APC backup so at least I'm not blind.

Also, you just reminded me to update bios on my dell precisions to reboot during power failures without asking Safe mode or Normal Mode.

If you're a Dell shop, they have OpenManage software which allows you to push out BIOS settings changes to multiple systems at once.  Beats the heck out of having to "sneaker-net" to every system individually.
