Should I upgrade to v8?

Hi guys,

I am using a second hand ASG 110/120 rev 3 at home with a home user license and currently its running the latest version of 7.x.  So I'm wondering there will be any issues if I go ahead and install the software version on my ASG 110/120 and if version is as stable as it should be?

Any input would be very much appreciated.

    There are some with the opinion that 1GB is not enough for V8. However it runs perfectly fine, and with easily up to 15-25 users with all services running on a decent 5-10mbit line.

    The fact is, we have thousands of appliances out there in full operational mode running ASG V8 with 1GB of RAM, if it didnt work, or was performing terribly, we wouldn't offer products based like this. 

    Most support cases regarding load issues at the low end are from misconfiguration, too many users with too many services enabled beyond what is intended, or command line tweaks which impact unintended areas.

    I have to say that so far v8 seems to be running more efficiently than v7 did...  Thanks for making this free for home use, I am very impressed with it so far and am planning to start recommending Astaro solutions at work as well based on my own experiences..
