Installation issue

Hi All, trying to install the latest ASG8 on an HP machine.  It has an onboard NIC, and we have added 2 Dlink nics.  For some reason, it detects all 3 (regardless of bios settings)  and will even show link on any of the 3 during installation.  But - when it boots for the first time, the link light goes OUT during boot and will not come back on - this appears to be only on the nic set to be the admin interface.

Because of this issue I am not able to get into the admin interface and look into the issue any further...

Any ideas?

  • If the NIC in question is not on the HCL, try a different NIC.  If you are using Version 7, give the Version 8 ISO a shot, it works with more hardware than V7 did.
