ASG 7.508 and Network Controller NC375T

Hello

I just bought a HP ProLiant DL360 with a Network Controller NC375T inside.

After the Installation of Astaro ASG 7.508 I noticed, that the Network Controller is not recognized by the Software. Booting an Ubuntu Live-CD showed me that the hardware is working fine...

LSPCI gives the following output:
07:00.0 Ethernet controller: NetXen Incorporated NX3031 Multifunction 1/10-Gigabit Server Adapter (rev 42)
07:00.1 Ethernet controller: NetXen Incorporated NX3031 Multifunction 1/10-Gigabit Server Adapter (rev 42)

Does anyone have a hint?

It's not on the HCL either way: http://www.astaro.com/lists/HCL-ASG-V7.txt

You might try V8 as it supports a lot more of the newer hardware.

Any thoughts on if/when it will be supported? Appears to be in the vanilla Linux kernel, although certain kernels do not support configuring auto-negotiation, among other things.

It may work in a recent version of Astaro.
The HCL has been offline for some reason.

The Astaro HCL is available at http://astarosupport.org/hcl/ currently.

I doubt any support for new hardware will be added in the Astaro Security Gateway 7-series, as it will be end of life by the end of this year.

Thanks for the new link.

However, in FF9, the 'view' button does nothing, and the downloaded XML is hard to read.

The V8 HCL used to be searchable... will that be returning?

Anyways, the NC375T is in the 8.3 HCL XML file, but I don't see a 'status' field as to whether it's been verified / tested / expected to work, as the HCL used to have.

I see the device is also listed for 9 but am also having trouble figuring out if that means it's actually supported? We tried the 375T on 8.30 I believe and, while the device was recognized, it was effectively useless (the interfaces could not be brought up via the front or back-end and no links as a result)
