Your ASG Appliance V8 Upgrade Experience

With 7.508 being made available last week as a soft-release (FTP Download & Install), we would be particularly interested in your experiences with the upgrade option which allows the migration of an ASG appliance running 7.508 to Version 8.002. As this feature will be made GA near the end of this month, your feedback would be valuable.

Did this process meet your expectations? If not, where can we do better? Let us know here, along with any questions you might have.

    For your information, a little return about our upgrades to V8.
    I have upgraded 7 appliances (essentialy ASG120 and 220) from 7.508 release 1 to V8 since 10 days now.
    For me all is OK except for Central Management
    In all cases, ACC login doesn't works. 
    The issue is to disable ACC, cleanup objects, reboot V8 and reconfigure ACC.

    Thanks for this upgrade process, this is a great job

    I upgraded one of our ASG425 devices with the soft release of 7.508 and then used the one click upgrade to 8.002. We were unable to log in to the ASG via Active Directory accounts until we restarted the ASG425 again. Everything has been fine since then though.
