ASG120 V8.001 and V8.002 stops responding/unavailable

Hi,

I have some strange behaviour with my Astaro ASG120.

It runs some time and at all of a sudden at stops responding. The internal and external ip adress are not reachable any more.

I tested this with V8.001 and V8.002 same issue, unit has 1GB of RAM.

The only way to get the ASG up and running again is to use the on/off switch at the back of the unit. After that it will work again some time and then it stops again.

I notice that during the time the unit doesn't work, there is no orange (hdd) led activity.

I cannot find anything usefull in the log files.

Any ideas what can cause this strange behauviour?

    Hi,

    My problem is solved, I replaced my 2,5" internal hdd on my ASG120.

    What I also found out is that when the system was hanging, as soon as I inserted a USB keyboard into the front USB port, the system started working again, and the orange led also started flashing again.
