Licensing Problem migration V7 to V8

Hi all,

I'm building a new low-power hardware for the V8 version. After installation I upload the license file, but surprise, all services like

- Network security
- Mail security
- Web Security
- Web Application Security

are disabled (not licensed). I opened the license file and it says these services should be enabled.

My actual V7 astaro works great with the same license file.

What's the problem?

Thanks for any help

  • Thanks for your help Ölm!!!

Like you suggested, I checked the date...and ... I found a very stupid error :-)

Time, day and month were OK, but year was on 2020 :-(

    License options are now OK.

Well next time, I'll go slowly.... and check twice.

    Thanks

    Gianni
  • I was going to suggest checking the date / time...

BTW, you should be quite happy with the D510 solution... we've been test deploying some D410 (the same processor but single core) appliances with the 64 bit kernel and hyperthreading, the performance is pretty good for smaller offices.
