7.507 update not working correctly on my HA slave

Hi,
I have a HA (passive /active configuration).  Using Dell servers and the software Astaro 7.504. 

I tried to update to version 7.507. But using the webinterface this did not work. The up2date did not start. Using ssh and the command: auisys.plx --rpmargs --force
installed the updates on my master server. 
It rebooted and it has version 7.507. so far to good. the status of the slave (some how this is now called Worker), is up2date and is still version 7.504. That is the status for over an hour. Somehow the slave is not updating. How can I kick the slave so it is also updating?

    Normally, I think it's the Slave that Up2Dates first.  I wonder if maybe you didn't see that that was happenning and that you caused an interruption of the normal process.  I think I'd recommend that you get Astaro Support involved.

    If this is a home installation, then try:
    • "Break" the HA by turning it "off" in the Master.  This should cause the Slave to do a factory reset and shut down.  If it doesn't then just disconnect the Slave, do a Factory Reset and shut it down.
    • Download the 7.505-7 Up2Dates from ftp://ftp.astaro.de/pub/ASG/v7/up2date/ into a PC.
    • With all WAN, LAN and HA connections unplugged, connect the PC to the Slave, power it on, do the basic installation and then manually upload the Up2Dates to the Slave.  When finished Up2Dating it to 7.507, do a factory reset and power the Slave down.
    • On the Master, enable HA, fill in the fields and confirm that automatic configuration is enabled.
    • Connect the LAN, WAN and HA cables to the Slave and power it up.  The Master should sync the Slave and you should be back to normal.

    Same thing happened on my HA as well and I have had a ticket open since Shaturday nite...

    Well fixed it with some external help.
    The slave kept being on up2date. At the console of the slave I logged in as root. 
    tried the commandline option: auisys.plx.  It stranded on an avira update that failed. As this fails, the update process does not continue, and the web interface hangs. I deleted the avira update (/var/up2date/avira (look for the gpg file). started the update process again (auisys.plx.) and now it continued and updated the firmware. 
    Maybe there is a reason, but from my experience, I would say, that the update process should start with firmware updates, and not with others, so this can not  happen again.

    Actually I opened a ticket with support and FIVE days later they remoted it and rebooted it.

    The slave refused to reboot for me for some reason but it worked for them.

    I guess waiting that long is key!
