Installation Problems on ASG220C

Hello all:
I want to reinstall the OS in my HW appliance (we have 2 b.t.w)
Currently installed is ver 7.507
When downloading from the ftp the machine ISO appers to be the SAME as the software ISO.
The both! downloaded images stops within the install script say something like:
thats a software installer scipt but you have the appliance

When trying to use the v8 beta appliance image the install script says 
scanning for hardware and then it finds the 325 and trys to start the Info panel but cant, so it stops aswell.

Is it possible to get a working app image for my 220C ?

    Hello, Hirsch, and welcome to the User BB!

    You definitely want the hardware version: ssi-8.001-20.1.iso

    If it's not installing correctly, try burning the CD ata a slower speed.

    o.k., Bob's solution will be the best.

    I'll try to point out and translate: 

    christianlous: 1GB RAM is min. in 8.x
    TPok: Make sure the HDD-patition is o.k. - if you are not sure after some trys, boot to a linux-console and delete old partitions -fdisk.
    trollvottel: You have to use the "v8 SSI ISO" - new install (with Astaro SmartInstaller USB-Stik or a CD-ROM.
