Rack Mounting ASG220 Hardware

Hello,

I have an ASG220 (1U) that I would like to rack mount.  However, I'm not too sure how to go about this.  I have the front mounting brackets that came with it, but I'm pretty sure that isn't enough to support the whole unit.  Do I need to buy a specific set of rails or will any 1U rails work?

Thanks. [:)]

  • Lane, it works OK, but I'd make sure that the power cable is connected in such a way that someone pulling on the cable lifts the back instead of pulling it down.  I agree that Astaro should have the case drilled to accept "real" rails or some way to support the rear of this long 1U box.

    Cheers - Bob
